Xavier Koener

Graduated with distinction from the Free University of Brussels, Master KOENER completed his university education with a Master na Master in het Europees en Internationaal recht (Master after Master in European and International Law) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

He began his legal internship at the Liège law firm Henry & Mersch, winner of the Belgian Legal Award for Wallonia in 2008, and more specifically with Maitres Bernard MAQUET and Jean-Marc SECRETIN. He has mainly dealt with cases relating to administrative law and civil and commercial law in the broad sense.

During 2013, he was interim assistant to Professor Ann Lawrence DURVIAUX in his department of Public Economic Law at the University of Liège.

At the end of his internship, it was only natural that he decided to settle in the borough of Arlon in order to be closer to his current clientele.

Since 11 December 2014, he has also been registered on the list of Community lawyers at the Luxembourg Bar, which allows me to manage the cross-border cases entrusted to him as efficiently as possible.

Mr. KOENER speaks French, Dutch, English and Swedish.
